2008 in a nutshell! ………….well, what can I say apart from the fact that 2008 has been amazing and my best year so far in terms of eventing success!!

So much has happened this year. I sold my wonderful pony Welton Jazz to a lovely girl, Genevieve (Chuffy) Clarke, who unbelievably lives only 10 minutes down the road! It’s a perfect home and the Clarke’s love him just as much as we do!! Its fantastic as I get to see him often and still ride him sometimes! He has been going as beautifully as ever. They’ve already had many successes, including winning the Pony Club Novice Championships in Dressage and Eventing. Pretty amazing in their first year together!!

Tambourine and I managed to achieve our 2008 goal by winning team and individual Gold at the Junior European Championships in Scotland! I think myself very fortunate as there is always so much that can go wrong, so we were very lucky!!

2008 was very hard work in terms of training and GCSE’s. I have another year in juniors which is great, so I plan to work even harder in order to make the team again! The junior riders/trainers/selectors/parents etc are all so nice, which gives it a lovely atmosphere, so it’s a pleasure to be involved and a lot of fun!

Apart from Tambo, I also have three others which I am bringing on and have very high hopes for. We are planning some BD and BSJA shows soon to get them out and about again. I am delighted to have been re-selected for the World Class programme, so regular Squad training will start soon. I am very excited about being on the Start Programme and find it a huge honour to be part of this scheme. The World Class offers support and advice on many levels and I plan to utilise this to the best of my ability to enable my success for the future.

I intend to update my diary often to keep you guys involved and informed on what’ s happening! I am so excited about the launch of this website and I really I hope you enjoy it!!
